Mediation
When disputes arise there are various ways to settle them. Litigation is one route; however, parties are encouraged wherever possible to try and resolve these disputes using alternative methods, and failure to
respond to a request to settle away from the courts can often result in unnecessary costs.
The most popular, and most beneficial, method of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is mediation.
Mediation offers the parties a higher degree of control and involvement in the resolution process and more immediate and commercial access to justice. In contrast to the courts, where the matter is decided on the law by judges, mediation parties and their advisers working together to bring about a solution.
