Cora Richardson Hodge is the Founder of the firm.
She possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in corporate/commercial matters and real estate development. A large part of her practice also involves commercial litigation.
Mrs. Richardson Hodge received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida in 1995 and her Juris Doctor (cum laude) Degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1999.
She thereafter received her Legal Education Certificate from the Council of Legal Education in 2000, allowing her to appear before the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (“ECSC”).
Cora Richardson Hodge is admitted to practice in Anguilla, Florida USA, U.S. Virgin Islands and St. Kitts and Nevis.
Mrs. Richardson Hodge was certified as a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Court Mediator and is one of the first cohorts to have been appointed as a Court Appointed Mediator of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, Anguilla Circuit in 2005. Over the years, Mrs. Richardson Hodge has conducted numerous mediations, both through the ECSC and mediations organized by private parties. In December 2020, Mrs. Richardson Hodge was appointed by the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court to serve as a member of the National Mediation Committee for Anguilla.
In April 2015, Mrs. Richardson Hodge was elected as the District Representative for Sandy Hill and assumed the Ministerial portfolio as Minister of Home Affairs, Labour, Immigration, Education, Constitutional and Electoral Reform, Information & Broadcasting and Human Rights. During her five year term, she was successful in championing – the Anguilla Labour (Relations) Act 2019, the Anguilla Constitution (Amendment) Order 2019, and various amendments to the Anguilla Immigration Act – some of the most progressive legislative advancements made in approximately thirty years in Anguilla.
Mrs. Richardson Hodge was re-elected as District Representative and now serves as the Leader of the Opposition in the Anguilla House of Assembly.
Mrs. Richardson Hodge has returned to full time practice at the firm.
